Les BO Hard Rock/Metal de films
En écoutant enfin l'intégralité de la BO de Last Action Hero, avec rien de moins qu'un inédit d'ACDC, de DEF LEPPARD (sorti plus tard sur album) et aussi des pointures comme MEGADETH ou ALICE IN CHAINS (et peut-être d'autres groupes, je ne connais pas assez leurs carrières), j'ai eu envie de créer ce sujet pour évoquer les BO qui contiennent des inédits ou qui sont simplement de très bonnes compilations.
Je reviens sur Last Action Hero, superproduction hollywoodienne qui voit Arnold Schwarzenegger se parodier et fut considéré comme un échec à l'époque, vu les sommes engagées et ce, malgré les qualités du film. Hollywood a du mal avec le recul sur soi-même, car l'excellent Tango and Cash avec Stalone a subi le même sort, la BO en moins.

Je suis friand de ces soundtracks qui se révèlent de bonnes compil's et qui pour moi sont des prétextes parfois à se regarder un film auquel je n'aurai accordé aucun intérêt. Sauf que la présence de quelques artistes m'y pousse. Dernière acquisition (de cette semaine justement) dans le genre :

Je n'avais jamais entendu parler de ce film. C'est quoi, une sorte de Top Gun ? D'ailleurs la BO de Top Gun mérite d'être citée aussi, avec entre autre CHEAP TRICK.

Dans Hot Time Tub Machine il y a même une scène avec un concert de POISON qui joue Nothin' But a Good Time. En même temps les protagonistes ont été renvoyés en 1986
Airheads, je l'avais vu, mais je ne me souviens pas de la BO. Pour Detroit Rock City, entièrement d'accord ! C'est ce film qui m'avait fait découvrir les SWEET. Et les dialogues sont rigolos en VO quand on connait un peu KISS, il y a plein d'allusions aux titres du groupe. Déception : mon DVD a disparu ! Je ne sais plus a qui je l'avais prêté, mais manifestement la personne ne me l'a pas rendu !

Oui, ce sont bien des inédits pour Tesla et Queensrÿche. Pas pour Fishbone en revanche.
Moi aussi c'est à Bill & Ted auquel j'ai pensé pour les inédits (peut-être plus encore le deux - avec Slaughter, Winger, King's X, Megadeth...etc).

Sur le sujet je conseille aux anglophones la lecture de ce petit pavé de presque 600 pages (bon qui pourrait avoir une petite mise à jour dorénavant) mais qui recèle quantités d'infos :
Bon par contre j'ai la B.O de Detroit Rock City et on y retrouve pas toutes les chansons qu'on entend dans le film (il faudrait au moins un double cd sinon) mais une bonne quinzaine.
Autre B.O récupérée dernièrement assez rock/AOR celle de St Elmo's Fire :
